BSc Hons Management Practice accredited by Ulster University
Delivered one evening a week over 2 years our BSc is designed for managers who want to update and/or formalise their knowledge and/or develop a career in general management.
The programme uses an integrated management development approach to equip managers with the knowledge and skills to excel in a managerial role. It also supports practicing managers to become more effective by engaging in continuous professional development for career progression and/or promotion.
The main delivery mode is block workshops. Workshops have a high element of class interaction and participation encouraging students to draw upon experiential learning. Relevant case studies and guest speakers/lecturers are used to support student development. Contextualised learning is supported by an increasing range of e-books and online materials accessed from Ulster University’s Library.
Managers and individuals looking to formalise qualifications.
Owner managers and area specialists e.g. Engineering/Marketing/Arts/Nursing.
Past participants come from a diverse range of companies and backgrounds, but all have the same goal - to progress their career with a recognised qualification, delivered to the highest standards.
Participants must complete an Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL), to demonstrate relevant experience to be accepted on this high level programme. This portfolio of evidence is authenticated by Ulster University.
"The spread of students from big companies to small, public sectors to charity groups, ensured a balanced mix and varied discussion which enhanced the learning experience further." John Ryan, Global Process Owner
"Highly interactive, thought provoking, enlightening and challenging, the knowledge will help you to reflect on and improve both your own and organisations strengths. The delivery offers a striking alternative to traditional short term memory based examinations and focuses on real life challenges and solutions." Stephen McGrath.
