In this 3 hour session (half-day OR evening course) you will learn about online video and how to make it work for your business. This interactive course involves a combination of trainer-led presentation, classroom-based discussion and practical exercises.

Course Programme

Examine the recent growth of video content and its impact

  • Video marketing basics: how to use video to achieve maximum return (for brand awareness, e-Commerce, news etc.), “hero, hub, hygiene” content marketing strategy, the differences between each type of video and a review of case studies of seeded and viral videos
  • Mobile video: the importance of cross-screen video marketing, how to ensure your video responds well to mobile devices and case studies of video content shot on mobile devices
  • Social channels: what video distribution channels are available on social media (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Vimeo, Vine etc.), using and optimising your YouTube channel, video targeting on YouTube, Facebook & Twitter and social media video basics
  • How to engage your audience: target your chosen audience with relevant content on social channels, using stories to build brand awareness and creating customer engagement
  • How to produce video for your business: tips for the shoot (framing, interview style, audio etc.)
