In this 3 hour training session (half-day or evening course) you will learn how to use SEO to drive customers to your site while improving your search engine rankings, how to maximise your conversion rates and how to maintain and improve your sites visibility.

Course Programme

What is SEO and why is it important?
  • Understanding SERPs (search engine result pages); how search engines find and index your website, how your website is ranked in the search results, your SERP listing, knowledge graph panel and rich snippets
  • Increasing user engagement to improve your search engine ranking; content marketing, using target keywords in your content, using social media promotion etc.
  • Link-building: using internal & external inbound links
  • On-site factors that affect search engine ranking; HTML sitemaps, site speed, page optimisation (structured data mark-up, use of headings & keywords, optimising images), meta data etc.
  • Analytics: Online tools you can use to analyse your website’s performance & user experience
  • Other impacts on your search ranking; rectifying technical issues which can negatively impact your ranking
