In our Social Media for Business Course you will learn how to leverage your company’s social media presence to generate more connections, build relationships and boost your bottom line. This full-day lecture (Day Course) or two 3-hour lectures (Evening Course) will take an in-depth look at Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other popular social networks, as well as the art of blogging.
Topics will include case studies of Irish and global businesses effectively using social media to build customer communities and successfully manage their online brands, best-practice for social media publishing, measuring performance and how to handle negative commentary on social media.
In this section you will cover the fundamentals including the current Facebook landscape, pages and profiles. You will learn how to manage and post from your business page via mobile and desktop; how to maximise day-to-day engagement and how to create and use Facebook Ads, Facebook Groups and Facebook Events.
You will cover the basics of Twitter (Feed, Timeline, Tweet, Retweet, Hashtag, Favourite, Reply). You will also look at using and managing the performance of Twitter Lists, Ads & Cards, how to promote your Twitter account and target your audience
You will look at the basics of LinkedIn (Feed, Pulse, Status Update, Like, Comment, Share, InMail), how to complete your profile and company page. In addition, you will be introduced to other features available on LinkedIn; Basic Vs Premium accounts, jobseeker and recruiter tools, LinkedIn career pages, Business Plus & Sales Navigator features, how to create an ad and target your audience.

Here you will look at what exactly Pinterest, Instagram & Snapchat are and their relevance to your business. You will discuss the strengths of these 3 platforms, the audience you might target with each and the best way to use them for your business.
