Become a more effective manager and learn essential business and management skills with this accredited Executive Management and Leadership Skills Programme.
The Mini-MBA is an industry led Level 9 Executive Management Development programme, developed and delivered in Dublin by Ulster University in Association with Irish Times Training, in response to employer requests for a short programme that covers topics that are fundamental to the understanding of business and management.
This programme will help practicing managers gain a better understanding and appreciation of your role within your organisation and make you a more effective manager. Each module will give you a crucial grounding in the latest theory as well as practical tools and techniques that you can implement immediately within your role.
The course is aimed at individuals with technical qualifications who wish to develop their business and management skills. Ideally, applicants will be aspiring senior managers / leaders with 5+ years’ professional experience, and a minimum of 3 years management experience.
In four modules delivered over five days, industry experts and academic thought-leaders guide you through your Mini MBA. Each day is designed to maximise your learning and allow you to apply the latest theory to real-life situations. It is recommended participants complete an additional approx. 100 hours of independent study between self-directed learning and time spent on the assignment.
Please note the programme is structured in two "blocks" and the dates for the April course are as follows; 20th, 21st & 22nd April - break - 30th April & 1st May.
Assessment for each individual will be a 3,000 word assignment on an issue of strategic importance to your organisation / industry.
After the successful completion of this assignment, you will be awarded an Ulster University Mini MBA accreditation which can be used as a pathway to achieving a full MBA in the future.
