Introducing a new Digital Transformation for Leaders Programme in partnership with Beta Digital

Digital skills and tools are constantly evolving, so not only is there pressure to stay up to date, it can be challenging to fully determine which digital strategies will work for your business. It’s happening faster than anyone could have imagined, and faster than businesses are able to adapt. But adapt they must. Having a sustainable and viable strategy is the only way companies will survive and compete in the current digital and customer-driven landscape.

One of the major concerns for Irish enterprises is how to manage and react to Digital Transformation and its demands on organisations. It has been reported that up to a third of organisations fear they could go out of business by the end of 2020, if they do not innovate and react to the changes of the digital landscape.

This brand new 1-day Digital Transformation for Leaders Programme aims to give senior business leaders an appreciation and understanding of exactly what they are trying to achieve in order to undertake a digital transformation in line with their unique culture and strategy.

This programme is delivered in partnership with Beta Digital, professional digital consultants with real-world experience in running Digital Transformation initiatives across multiple sectors, industries and markets.

The programme will provide participants with an understanding of;

  • Key strategic drivers of digital transformation
  • What digital transformation means for your business
  • How digital maturity is measured
  • Organisational capabilities needed to lead digital transformation
  • How to approach and lead the development of digital transformation planning

All of the above will be modeled on a proven methodology called ‘The Digital Maturity Matrix”, devised by Beta Digital’s partners DigJourney, and based on the theories of key thought leaders such as John Kotter of Harvard Business School and Brian Solis of Altimeter Group.

Participants will leave with the a practical framework to apply to their organisation’s transformation planning requirements together with an appreciation and understanding of exactly what they are trying to achieve in order to undertake a digital transformation in line with their unique culture and strategy.

Irish Times Training will be running two iterations of this programme this year (April & November) from its HQ in The Irish Times, Dublin 2, one in April and the second in November. For organisations that have a number of team members interested, the programme can be delivered on a tailor-made basis on-site.
