Irish Times Training in the Virtual World

Like most businesses in recently, Irish Times Training have been working remotely and entirely online. These unprecedented times have called for innovation, resilience and collaboration in order to continue to design and deliver training, and we at Irish Times Training are delighted that we have been able to move courses online to deliver expert training virtually.

Here’s what’s new…

New Virtual Training Courses

If you are looking to take some time to up-skill for yourself, Irish Times Training have launched a suite of virtual training sessions that you can sign up to from your new home office!

Our Diploma in Digital Marketing course is now available online, so you can take part in virtual lectures and discussions to learn about topics including Online Advertising, Search Engine Optimisation and Social Media Marketing. As so much of our working life is now digitally based, these skills are now even more in demand. You can take the entire 11 modules to achieve the Diploma or, if you prefer to cover specific topics rather than the entire course, we are happy to help you to do that.

We have also worked with expert trainers to develop new courses in People Management, Communication Skills and Project Management. These virtual courses have been specifically designed to benefit from online delivery by our trainers, who are experts in their field and who also have practical experience of delivering training online. They have all the tips and tricks to ensure that your learning experience is optimised. These courses will be scheduled for specific times and dates to ensure that the live aspects of training are retained. This way, the trainer can react to your particular queries and challenges and the interactive nature of training is encouraged.

Features of all of our new virtual programmes include:

●      Live interaction with the trainer

●      Guided presentation shared by the trainer on screen

●      Interactive Q&A feature

●      Access to notes and materials after the virtual sessions

●      Access to recordings of virtual training sessions

You can read details of the courses on the ‘Virtual Courses’ page or you can contact Sinéad Docherty at [email protected] with any questions.

In-company training

We are continuing to deliver training virtually to a number of the businesses and organisations we work with, adapting our offering and designing new training that will suit the online experience. With no certainty about the date on which life will return to “normal”, the time and opportunity have arisen for some to upskill, to keep their work team engaged and motivated, and to ensure that everyone has the skills to do their job, both in this current situation and looking ahead to when normality resumes.

If the present circumstances are throwing up challenges in your organisation, whether it be remote People Management or overall Communication Skills, please do get in touch and find out about how we can help! Jonathan Beatty ([email protected]) and Camille Rocca ([email protected]) are on hand to work through your training requirements and work with our panel of trainers to tailor courses to your needs, if required.

And finally..

Webinar Series

In April we ran a weekly webinar series in order to share knowledge and insight on a variety of topics, with the aim of helping to keep you motivated and focused on your goals. Each webinar was delivered by one of our knowledgeable and experienced trainers. The webinar gave audiences the opportunity to ask questions and interact with the trainer so the virtual experience mirrored the in-classroom experience.

The series featured highly relevant topics for the current changed world of work including ‘Getting to Grips with Remote Working’ with Joe Houghton, ‘Leadership in a Crisis’ with Paula Lonergan, ‘Building Resilience Through Adversity’ with Lisa Hughes, ‘Goal Setting: Finding Your Focus’ with Miriam Rogers and ‘Keeping it going: Strengthening Business in Tough Times’ with Mark Hayes.
