Our 2 day People Management course will give you the tools and techniques you need to build day to day people management structures and processes that will harness, direct and coach teams and individuals to deliver the organisation’s mission and objectives.
You will have the opportunity to assess the latest thinking with regard to people and performance management and the techniques needed to apply the theory to future practice in your work environment.
This course emphasises the importance of self-awareness and developing your core soft skills to ensure that you leave having developed transferable skills that are sought after by modern employers.
This is a practical course and our tutor will work with you throughout, to develop the necessary skills through a series of discussions, activities and coursework to allow participants to practice and assess their skills in a safe environment.
Lisa Hughes is an experienced management facilitator and executive coach, who excels in inspiring, motivating and challenging teams to ensure the highest and most effective performance in line with organisational objectives. Having spent 15 years working at a senior level in the Digital and telecoms sectors before coming a trainer and coach, Lisa uses her industry experience to focus on developing leadership, Performance Management, Resilience and Change Management capabilities, enabling better decision making, faster response, more efficient team work and collaboration.
Her specialties' include Communication Skills, Successful Change Management, High Performing Teams, Emotional Intelligence, People Management and Energy Management. Lisa is qualified in delivering emotional intelligence assessment EQi2.0 both on an individual level and as a 360 feedback tool. She is also qualified in MBSR/MBCT and teaches practical mindfulness techniques to build greater ease, energy and performance within our everyday working lives. Lisa is a recognised teacher with Ulster University.
