The Postgraduate Certificate in International Business, delivered in conjunction with Ulster University, takes a holistic view of an organisation and international business, and will advance your knowledge and competency of international business.
The programme is designed for individuals with a background in business or business-related studies who want to develop an integrated and critically-aware understanding of the international activities at both the strategic and operational level.
In addition to a highly-regarded formal qualification from Ulster University, you will develop personal and organisational management skills that will significantly enhance your career prospects – particularly if you want to become a manager in an internationalising or export focused company. All of the modules in this programme focus on transversal, transferable skills, allowing you to apply your knowledge in day to day activities and to remain nimble in the workplace of the future.
Successful participants will appreciate the difference between domestic and international business, and will be able to take an active part in the international strategising process, international marketing, and understand how to finance international business. You will also have the opportunity to self-test your intercultural effectiveness, and receive a tailored self-development plan to enhance your ability to work across differing cultural contexts.
This programme is available to both those already in employment and those who are out of work, whether in receipt of unemployment benefit or having been out of the workforce for some time, once they meet the university’s entry level requirements.
