Get the funding support you need with our Business Case Guide

A Guide for Building your Education Funding Business Case

PUBLISHED 1 AUGUST 2022

So, you've done the research and you’ve found an Irish Times Training course you want to attend – great! But how will you fund it? How can you get the support you need?

These are questions we've heard from a lot of students. Presenting a professional and persuasive case can be the difference between securing support or not.

Seeking sponsorship or funding from your organisation for your chosen programme can seem quite daunting, but we know from experience that many past participants have successfully secured funding and support from their organisations, whether employed in large multi-national organisations, SMEs, or public sector bodies.

Your organisation needs to know why they should invest their resources in the programme and the value it can bring to the overall company. Rather than being overwhelmed by the problem, we've come up with a solution. We've created a Business Case Guide which you can use to create an effective business case to present to your line manager or HR department, and request the support you need.

Our guide will help you to present a case for how and why your chosen programme will benefit your employer and help to meet their business challenges. While we cannot guarantee the outcome you’re looking for, this guide willl help you to find the best framework on which to build a strong business case.

And we're always here to help you decide on the course that's best for you, so don't hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected] and one of the team will get right back to you.
